it's MANIC MONDAY!! I woke up super late after having this sick dream last night. It's hard to describe, but it was like mix of Grave Dancers, Final Destination, Kill Bill, Pushing Daisies, and Smokin' Aces. I think I'm the only person in the world who has seen all of these movies and the one series (Pushing Daisies).
I got up at 7:09am (the time that I should've been brushing my teeth right before falling down the stairs, looking for my shoes, grabbing my purse and then running out the door to catch the bus. I just couldn't wake myself up! My alarm went off at the right time but my phone was on SILENT. There's something strange about that
I went downstairs to the swamp to get my clothes out of the dryer...came back upstairs and then fell asleep in the shower That's the only way I can explain being in the shower for like 35 minutes. Time just flew by!
I made it to the bus stop about 4 blocks from my house and then realized that my sister had my bus pass!! If I ran back home to get it, there was NO way I'd be able to catch my bus that was coming in about 2 minutes. I looked in my purse and all I had was a $10. NO FUCKING CHANGE FOR THE FUCKING BUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ran across the street to Burger King to get an iced coffee because I needed the caffeine and change for the bus. Of course NO ONE was there!! UGH!! I should've just jumped behind the counter and grabbed some pies to go but there was no time to be a food burglar... ok no, that's McDonald's but whatever...
Finally someone came out and took her sweet time ringing me up. I guess she didn't realize that my bus was coming in negative 3 seconds Nearly getting hit by cars rushing to get to work, I made it back on the bus stop in just enough time to catch the bus....UNTIL bus number 04118 (oh yes I will be filing a complaint) decided to pass right by me and some other dude on the bus stop!! I did what all children do....I called MOMMY! She came and picked me up and I was on my way UNTIL we got 1 block away from my job and there was a FIRE! umm HI! can you please set your fucking house on fire AFTER I am in my office before my boss!?
This day has started off pissy and for some reason, the Carpenters' We've Only Just Begun is repeating itself over and over and over in my mind!!
) decided to pass right by me and some other dude on the bus stop!!
